Did y’all know that Nashville was voted the Best Place to Ring in the New year by USA Today 10Best readers? Is it any surprise, really? If you find yourself in Nash this NYE without any plans (and you can’t escape to Mexico or the tropics to enjoy some warmth), be sure to check out a few of the events below! From dinners to charity galas, there’s something for everyone.
Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight
With stars like Maren Morris, Keith urban, Carly Pearce, and the Fisk Jubilee singers, this free event is one you don’t want to miss. In addition to performances by some of our favorite stars, midnight revelers can watch the “Music Note Drop” and fireworks display to follow. Singers will be featured throughout the night with Keith Urban finishing out the celebration after the note drop.
For a full schedule, visit Nashville New Year’s Eve!
If ringing in the New Year with fifty thousand of your closest friends isn’t quite what you had in mind, check out one of our all time favorite spots, Adeles. The restaurant is stepping up it’s menu for the night and serving oysters and caviar, beef carpaccio, pork belly, salads, NY strip steak, duck breast, gnocchi and more. Plus the option for an off-menu special of a whole lobster for two, one-year aged risotto, farm egg yolk, yogurt, uni and cavair. You can catch this special, elevated menu on both December 30 and 31.
Jingle Boot Rock: All Inclusive New Year’s Eve Party at The Sutler
There will be two entertainment options for NYE at The Sutler if you want to hear some great live music AND stay warm inside. In the saloon you’ll enjoy live music by Johnny & The Loveseats followed by the MiPS. In the cellar you can listen to the Sutler String Band, follow by DJ Skragl-e. There will be an open buffet and bar available to all guests, as well as a complimentary champagne toast at midnight, and tickets range from $55-$65.
The Pink Gala at The Factory Franklin
If you’re into a party with a cause, head to Franklin to attend The Pink Gala to benefit the Breast Cancer Health Center. Memphis Soul Review, a lively band from nearby, will have you dancing well into the new year! Tickets are $165 per person, and you may purchase a feather boa in honor of a breast cancer survivor or in memory of someone who has lost their battle.
We would be remiss if we didn’t mention what is happening for New Year’s Eve at our favorite venue in town. Old Crow Medicine Show will be returning to the Ryman to give a NYE performance. Visit the Ryman online to book your seats now. Who doesn’t want to ring in the New Year at the Mother Church?
Grays on Main
If you want to escape the busyness of Nashville for the New Year, check out Grays on Main in Franklin. Featuring performances by Kites, Kyshona Armstrong, and People on the Porch, their all-day-long celebration will not disappoint. Kick your boots up at Magnolia House after the party for a mini vacation.
