NASHVILLE—ABC’s annual telecast of “CMA Country Christmas” surged over its year-ago telecast by 19% in Total Viewers (8.2 million vs. 6.9 million) and by 20% in Adults 18-49  to earn three-year highs on both measures. CMA Country Christmas 2017 is marking the show’s best since Dec.1, 2014, while simultaneously increasing 53% year-over-year in Facebook and Twitter interactions.

With remarkable performances by Luke Bryan, Brett Eldredge, CB30, Trisha Yearwood, Kelsea Ballerini and more it’s no wonder that “CMA Country Christmas” assisted in making ABC the most-watched network of the night, alongside closing out the year for CMA with all three of its annual ABC television properties reaching three-year ratings highs (CMA Fest, The 51st Annual CMA awards, and CMA Country Christmas).

“CMA Country Christmas” will re-air Saturday, Dec. 23 at 8/7c on the ABC Television Network. The eighth annual holiday music celebration is a production of the Country Music Association. Robert Deaton is the Executive Producer, Paul Miller is the Director, and Jon Macks is the writer. If you missed it the first time around be sure to tune in on the 23rd for a celebration to remember!
