Daisy Sellas is a freshman songwriting major From San Juan Capistrano, California. She grew up on cowboy music which fluidly transitioned into a deep love and appreciation for country music later in life. With influences such as Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, and Willie Nelson, Sellas is not limited to the country music genre, naming David Bowie and The Rolling Stones for good measure.
It only seems natural that Sellas singer/songwriter songwriting style is also kissed by country music resulting in a beautiful and captivating blend of the two.
Resident Belmont Sessions artist Olivia Bandy brought fellow student and friend Daisy Sellas into the fold to write Bandy’s first genuine co-written song, “Teardrop from Songs,” and the results simply speak for themselves.
