PHIL VASSAR’S SONGS FROM THE CELLAR LAUNCHES ON CIRCLE NETWORK

Chart-topping singer-songwriter Phil Vassar invites television viewers across America inside his wine cellar during his Songs from the Cellar. The weekly series, produced by NashPhil Cellars and The Nice Kids, will air Thursdays at 9 pm EST on Circle Network where available. Guests of season one include Mike Tyson, Tommy Shaw, Charles Esten, Jessie James Decker, Cam, Carrot Top, Jeffrey Steele, Steve Cropper and many more.

“This series has been so much fun for me to create. I love getting to bring viewers into my home, so they feel like they’re really hanging out with my friends and me as we share our favorite stories and spirits. The show will also have a special emphasis on the storied careers of singer-songwriters of all genres,” expressed Vassar.

In 2015, the piano-pounding powerhouse completed his underground wine cellar at his estate, built in 1929, and filled it with wine, liquor, candles and a piano. The cellar quickly became one of Vassar’s favorite rooms in the house to write, sing and hang out with friends leading to the launch of Songs from the Cellar.

Circle Network programming will be available on Gray Television stations across the country and in markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Dallas-Ft. Worth, San Francisco, Boston, Tampa, Seattle, Detroit, Miami, Houston, Minneapolis and Denver through arrangements with CBS Television Stations and TEGNA.
